THE GOOD SAMARITAN FOOD AND CLOTHING LOFT
The Good Samaritan Food and Clothing Loft we provide our clients with quality food, personal products, toys, and fellowship. We are seeing many new faces as the word spreads that there is place that can help families through a rough time. We hope to continue to grow by getting the word out to our area that we are here and that we can help. At this time we are funded by grants from the Food Bank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. We use these grants to buy discounted food from the Food Bank. The grants are small but it does keep are shelves relatively full. We also receive from the Food Bank a monthly allotment of free USDA food.
Our vision is to meet our areas nutrition needs as well as providing quality clothes and other items for those who have a need. At this time we are accepting donations of food and cash but not clothing. This is not a thrift shop and our mission is to provide quality items in a clean and loving environment.
We are only open on Wednesday nights from 7:00 to 8:00 and on Saturday mornings from 10:00 to 11:00. If you need more information call Emley's Hill United Methodist Church, 609-758-8456.
